Title: Septic shock and it's effects Post by: Biolight on Aug 11, 2016 I read online that septic shock can cause a very high fever and then again a very low body temperature. Can these two body responses take place simultaneously? :o
Title: Re: Septic shock and it's effects Post by: Othello2 on Aug 11, 2016 no they cannot happen simultaneously, if you had a low body temp then you wouldn't have a fever. they can kind of swap back and forth tho. so rapid fever onsets followed by rapid hypothermia
