Title: Septic shock and it's effects

I read online that septic shock can cause a very high fever and then again a very low body temperature.Can these two body responses take place simultaneously?  :o

no they cannot happen simultaneously, if you had a low body temp then you wouldn't have a fever. they can kind of swap back and forth tho. so rapid fever onsets followed by rapid hypothermia
