Title: During muscle contraction, myosin cross bridges to attach to which active sites?
Post by: smmoh4 on Oct 14, 2012
a. Z discs
b. thick filaments
c. myosin filaments
d. actin filaments

i am confused with Sliding filament theory of contraction which states that: during contraction the thin filaments slide past the thick ones so that the actin and myosin filaments overlap to a greater degree. Is it D?

thanks.
