The minimum energy needed to eject an electron from the surface of a certain type of metal is 6.4×10-19 J. What is the threshold frequency of radiation needed to cause the photoelectric effect with this metal?

You can use U = h*f  where U is the energy of a photon, h is Planck's constant, and f is the frequency of the photon.

This gives f = U/h = 965.9THz
