While attempting a water rescue in a rapidly moving river swollen by recent rains your line breaks and you find yourself headed downstream. As you approach what appears to be a fallen tree submerged in the river, you should:
A) See if you can touch your feet on the bottom to steady yourself.
B) Try to swim over the tree.
C) Try to dive under the tree.
D) Relax your body and let the current carry you.
