Title: How do you find the angle of a projectile fired horizontally?
Post by: smooch92 on Nov 2, 2012
If you have the vertical and horizontal velocities of the projectile, but not the angle, what formula would you use to find it?
Sorry, I meant to say "How do you find the angle of a projectile fired angle?", not a projectile fired horizontally.

If it's horizontal, the angle is 180 or 0

You're thinking too hard.
If it was shot Straight up you have no problem saying it's 90 degrees.
Horizontal is 0 degrees
