I know what is ATP and i know how ADP is formed but i still dont understand what "energy transfers in cells" mean. Title: Re: What does this sentence about energy transfers mean ? Post by: bio_man on Dec 4, 2016 Think of ATP being an energy source, as in a battery for a process to occur. When the energy of this battery runs low - ADP - it can get recharged back to ATP.
