Title: How do you calculate moles that are consumed in reaction?
Post by: rizza mae on Nov 29, 2012
Calculate the number of moles of KIO, consumed by the reaction:
IO3- (aq) + I-(aq) + 6H+ (aq) -> I2 (aq) + 3 H20 (l)

It is the limiting reagent. Using this information, calculate the number of moles of I- that must have been consumed by reaction.

How do I do this?
