Title: Match each stage of cellular respiration with the cellular location in which it occurs?
Post by: NursingMajor on Dec 9, 2012
cellular respiration:

1. glycolosis
2. acetyl CoA formation
3. Citric Acid Cycle
4. oxidative phosphorolation

Cellular Location:

intermembrane space
outer mitochondrial membrane
inner mitochondrial membrane
cytosol
mitochondrial matrix

LOCATIONS CAN BE USED MORE THAN ONCE..

help!

1. glycolysis ---> cytosol
2. acetyl CoA formation ---> mitochondrial matrix
3. Citric Acid Cycle ---> mitochondrial matrix
4. oxidative phosphorolation ---> inner mitochondrial membrane

glycolysis- cytosol
acetyl coA  formation-mitochondrial matrix
citric acid cycle-in eukaryotes in the (mitochondrial matrix) and in prokaryotes in the (cytosol)

Oxidative phosphorolation-in eukaryotic cells (inner mitochondiral membrane) in prokaryotes (outer mitochondiral membrane)

i just changed where the actyl coA happened .. it happens in the mitochondiral matrix everything else is right . im just studying for this right now for my biology 111 exam goodluck!
hoep it helps!
