In your case, 70% is 0.70. 30% is 0.30. (Other examples: 80% is 0.80, 10% is 0.10, 1% is 0.01) Since your lecture grade is 70%, you multiply your current lecture grade with 0.7. That is 100 x 0.70 = 70 Your lab grade, which is 81, should be multiplied to 0.30. That is 81 x 0.30 = 24.3 Add them up, 70 + 24.3 = 94.3 Your grade would be 94.3 :) |
