The following precedence diagram reflects three time estimates for each activity. Determine:

Path     to-tm-tp
1-2         8-8-8
2-3      11-12-13
2-4         5-6-7
2-5      10-12-14
3-8       9-10-12
4-6      14-18-26
4-7      13-13-13
5-9       7-10-12
9-10    10-11-12
8-11      5-7-10
6-11     8-10-14
7-11    10.5-13-15.5
10-11     6-6-6

a. The expected completion time for each path and its variance. (Round intermediate calculations to 4 decimal places and final answers to 2 decimal places.)

  Path                Mean       Variance    Std. Dev.
  1-2-3-8-11        37.33         1.06             1.03

  1-2-4-6-11             43            5.11             2.26

  1-2-4-7-11             40             .81               .90

  1-2-5-9-10-11      46.83         1.25             1.12

b. The probability that the project will require more than 49 weeks. (Round intermediate calculations and final answer to 4 decimal places.)
P(T ≥ 49 wk.):_______

c.The probability that the project can be completed in 46 weeks or less. (Round intermediate calculations and final answer to 4 decimal places.)
P(T ≤ 46 wk.):_______

Thanks, that really put my mind at ease knowing I did part a right, but where do the probabilities come from. I know how to get the z49 and z46 answers, just don't understand what formula helps you get each of the corresponding probabilities.

There's a probability chart, like a z-table
