of NaOH is 0.231? The density of the solution is 1.4339 g/mL.

You have 0.231 mol NaOH dissolved in 1.00-0.231 = 0.769 mol H2O

Molar mass NaOH = 40g/mol
0.231mol = 0.231*40 = 9.24g NaOH
molar mass H2O = 18g/mol
0.769 mol = 0.769*18 = 13.84g H2O

You have 9.24+13.84 = 23.08 g solution in total

Mass % NaOH = 9.24/23.08*100 = 40.0% m/m
