Material is seen to be ejected from many active galaxies in two intense and oppositely directed jets. What gives rise to this ejection?

(a)   Pressure in an accretion disk around a supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy. The pressure forces matter outward, perpendicular to the disk.
(b)   Pressure inside the singularity at the center of a supermassive, rotating black hole in the core of the galaxy. The matter is ejected along the rotation axis of the singularity.
(c)   A supermassive binary black hole at the center of the galaxy. As the two black holes orbit around each other, matter is ejected perpendicular to the orbit.
