Title: Activity 6 The Action Potential: Coding for stimulus Intensity Post by: margaretr1989 on Feb 10, 2013 Hello!
I am having trouble figuring out if I have filled out my chart correctly. It doesn't tell you if you have entered the correct answer so if I put one wrong answer in, my whole chart will be off. If you could verify whether or not Im on the right track, that would be great! Stimulus Voltage: (mV) Stimulus duration (msec) ISI (msec) Action potential freq Hz 20 0.5 ... ... 20 500 100 10 30 500 60 16.7 45 500 30 33.3 Thank you so much for your help! Title: Re: Activity 6 The Action Potential: Coding for stimulus Intensity Post by: ap49 on Mar 7, 2014 What part of the Lab do you have to create the chart in? I have not reached that part yet. I am a little lost. My current question is asking me to enter the frequency in Hz from the ISI I previously entered which I believe was 10 milliseconds and to calculate the frquency of action potentials with a prolonged (500 msec) threshold stimulus intensity. Frequency =1/ISI. Convert the ISI to seconds before calculating the frequency. I am so lost.
