Only one of the following strategies is consistent with the textbook's recommendations for helping students with cognitive or academic difficulties succeed in the classroom. Which one is consistent?
A) Spend time clarifying instructions and expectations, and check to make sure students know what they are supposed to do.
B) At the end of each day, talk to students about the areas in which they did not succeed that day. Ask them to concentrate on improving in those areas tomorrow.
C) Maintain high expectations when it comes to reading. Challenge students who have reading difficulties to read the same materials as their peers; doing so will motivate them to improve their skills.
D) If students do not maintain a C average or better, keep them in during recess for extra instruction.
