Title: How to find the equation of a tangent line at a point?
Post by: tony on Feb 27, 2013
My textbook really sucks at giving enough examples of problems so I could not find an example like this:

y = (sqrt(x)) / (x+1) at the point (9 ,0.3)

I figured I needed to differentiate the function using the quotient rule and I got:

(((x+1) / (2sqrt(x)) - sqrt(x)) /  (x+1)^2

But where do I go from there?
