Title: Urgent! Population Frequency
Post by: leximads8_ on Jun 27, 2017
1. In a randomly mating population of mice, 12 out of every 100 mice born have white fur, a recessive trait. Calculate the homozygous recessive frequency for the population.

2. In a randomly mating population of mice, 1 of every 100 mice born have white fur, a recessive trait. Calculate the homozygous dominant frequency of the population.

3. In a randomly mating population of mice, 14 of every 100 mice born have white fur, a recessive trait. Calculate the heterozygous frequency for the population.

1. In a randomly mating population of mice, 12 out of every 100 mice born have white fur, a recessive trait. Calculate the homozygous recessive frequency for the population.

This doesn't make sense. They say 12/100 born are white, therefore the homozygous recessive percentage is 12%.

2. In a randomly mating population of mice, 1 of every 100 mice born have white fur, a recessive trait. Calculate the homozygous dominant frequency of the population.

I created a video for you, hope it helps. I'm pretty sure this is how you do it
