Not any more so than other natural sweeteners. The problem with HFCS isn't that it is worse for you that other sweeteners it's that it is put into drinks that are marketed in a way that implies that they are more healthy than sodas. People buy them thinking they are healthy to drink instead of just being more liquid candy that makes people obese.

Speaking from personal experience it is difficult to find fruit juice that doesn't have either sugar or HFCS in it. The labels frequently obfuscate by saying they are sugar free while having corn syrup in them or by saying they have no high fructose corn syrup and having sugar instead.

Anything which adds calories to your diet will contribute to the likelihood of obesity, which is bad for you. Hence HFCS isn't bad for you beyond being a source of superfluous calories.

It is bad for consumers who are trying to cut down their intake of sugars to try and achieve a healthier weight because it is a sneaky calorie source in products which are misleadingly labeled with images that consumers associate with healthy food.
