Title: How do you solve this system of equations using a matrix and Gauss-Jordan elimination?
Post by: iluvnova94 on Jul 31, 2013
2x - y + 3z = 24
     2y - z = 14
7x - 5y    =6

I can put the system into an augmented matrix but as i'm trying to solve and get it into reduced row eshlon form I end up undoing previous eliminating. I just can't figure this one out! I'm having trouble deciding when and where to eliminate. Any advice in regards to that? Thanks much!
The answer isn't enough I need to know how you do it by hand not with a calculator
