Title: Precalc help? graphing inequality?
Post by: !JRon@n on Oct 3, 2013
x^2-1 is less than or equal to the absolute value of x + 1. so it basically looks like this:

x^2-1 (less than or equal to) lx+1l

i hate precalculus. i'm a sophomore for gods sake.

Do you want us to graph this for you?

x^2-1 <= lx+1l

Move all variables and constants to one side:

x2 - 1 - x - 1 <= 0

x2 - x - 2 <= 0

I could be wrong :s
