The mother has blood type AB, so she has the gene type I(A)I(B) ( i will write it IaIb for shorter)
Her child has blood type AB too, so he has the similar gene type: IaIb

When inseminated, the child receive totally 2 alens of a gene, 1 alen from mom and 1 alen from his dad.
+ If the child received the alen Ia from his mom => He receive the alen Ib from his father (that means his father has this alen in gene)
So his father gene could be IaIb (AB blood type), IbIb or IbIo (B blood type)
+ Similar to the alen Ib, the answer is this position is the dad has gene IaIb (AB), IaIa or IaIo (A)
