Which is more likely to occur, a change in blood vessel radius or a change in blood vessel length? Explain why.

A change in blood vessel radius is more likely to occur. These changes occur on a daily basis to accommodate homeostasis (the body's well being as a whole).  The increase in pressure results in a corresponding increase in flow rate. A decrease in pressure would result in a decrease in flow rate.

radius. vessels don't normally elongate. they respond to changes in blood volume by changing their radius.
