people to maintain a less personal distance when communicating. However, her boss violated this expectation. Marcela found her boss to be a rewarding individual because she had higher status in the work place and was a credible individual. Because her boss was arewarding rather than a non-rewarding individual, she reciprocated the behavior without forming a negative impression of her boss rather than correcting the behavior. |
