Title: Getting a 4-year biology degree by passing tests?
Post by: fluxit on Jan 21, 2014
Hello! I'm trying to get a 4 year degree as fast as possible so i can move on to getting a masters. I've been taking the CLEP exams for college credit, already completed biology and plan on finishing them all.  However they only offer about 30 exams, and they don't cover important credits such as microbiology, organic chemistry, or physiology.
Is there anyway I can get these credits without wasting 4 months in a classroom?  I have no problem learning the material from textbooks and it would be nice if i could test out of the classes!

Thanks for any help or advice:)

Are you getting your degree via online courses?

You can also try to take winter and summer classes too if you want to finish as soon as possible.

Those courses tend to be more in depth than the ones you can CLEP out of. It's probably wise and the best option to take an accelerated version of those courses either during the Winter or Summer term if offered.
