Title: Combination of converging and diverging lenses Physics Question?
Post by: Gaga19 on Jan 20, 2014
A converging lens and a diverging lens, separated by a distance of 25 cm, are used in combination. The converging lens has a focal length of 15 cm. The diverging lens is of unknown focal length. An object is placed 18 cm in front of the converging lens; the final image is virtual and is formed 11 cm before the diverging lens. What is the focal length of the diverging lens?

Not sure which formula to use for this question. Snell's Law?
Tried the problem with your information but still got it wrong. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
