The nurse could appropriately respond:
1. You probably need an antibiotic to clear up the congestion. 2. Are you sure you are administering the nasal spray correctly? 3. Nasal decongestant sprays can cause rebound congestion with long-term use. 4. Who told you to use that kind of nasal spray for 3 months?
