MRI for harder tissue types?
MRI for harder tissue types?
I know MRIs are generally used for soft tissue and vascular stuff, but what limits its ability to be used on bone and harder tissues? Is it the power of the magnets? I think a standard MRI machine is no more than 3 tesla, but I think like 10.7 tesla MRI machines exist (granted they may require superconductors). Is the magnet strength the limit?
