This seems pretty cool indeed, but in fact the method is inconvenient. You see, the speaker frequently uses small digits (1 and 2) and skillfully evades high numbers. For high digits this method is very impractical.
In any case, the "Long Multiplication" is much more convenient.

So yes, the presentation is pretty cool, but that's all about it. Nerd Face

(padre remember to use small digits, or you will have trouble solving multiplications like 87*98 or similar things!)

It is limiting in that sense. It works nicely on numbers between 11 and 19, but that's about it.

This trick could be used to larger number as well, as long as: 1)the digits are small 2) your drawing skills are sufficient!

Avoid this 9 at all cost!

Imagine doing 19*19 Smiling Face with Open Mouth and Cold Sweat
