Some popular writers have been quick to assume that brain differences between men and women explain differences in behaviors in real life.  For example, it has been concluded that brain differences explain why women would rather talk about feelings and men would rather talk about sports. The supposed gender differences in behavior (e.g., women’s intuition) are stereotypes.
A brain differences does not necessarily explain behavior or performance.
Sex differences in the brain could be the result rather than the cause of behavioral differences.
