Hi! So I'm stuck on this one question because I don't understand if the hawk would be considered a secondary, tertiary AND quaternary consumer, or would it only be considered a quaternary consumer? Same goes with the shrew and the mockingbird. Would I consider them different types of consumers?

I've attached a screenshot of the question. Thank you!

Oops, sorry!

The question is: Can you identify the trophic levels at which these animals feed?

Drag the labels signifying different consumer levels onto this diagram showing part of a food web. Not all labels will be used.

PC = primary consumer
SC = secondary consumer
TC = tertiary consumer
QC = quaternary consumer

The choices are
PC
SC
TC
QC
PC and SC
SC and TC
TC and QC
PC, SC and TC
SC, TC, and QC

The bottom is plant leaves, seeds, and fruits.
Next level is grasshoppers that feed on plant leaves, seeds, and fruits
Next level is spiders that feed on grasshoppers
Next levels is mockingbirds that feed on spiders, grasshoppers, and plants leaves, seeds, and fruits
Same level as mockingbird is shrew that feed on grasshoppers and spiders
The top level is red-tailed hawks that feed on shrews and mockingbirds

Thank you!

Can someone please help me with this? My textbook, nor my professor and the attached file above were able to give me a clear answer.

I understand what the different types of consumers are, but if you consume something that is PC, SC and TC, does that make the hawk a SC, TC, and QC, or is the hawk still only a QC because it is only consuming the shrew and the mockingbird.

Please see the attachment on the original post as that is the homework assignment. Any help will be much appreciated.
