Step 1: Make sure your server has SSL enabled. If not, enable it; it won't harm the server. If your server is already setup, find the option "Associate and Dis-Associate Features" and from there it can be done.

Step 2: Go to Server Configuration > Manage SSL Certificates >> Tab: Create Signing Request

Step 3: At the bottom of Create Signing Request, click "Generate CSR Now".

This will produce your private key and CSR code. Copy them down somewhere, they'll be important when you purchase a certificate from GoDaddy, or any other reputable company.

Step 4: Go to your GoDaddy account, or wherever you purchase your certificate. Before they generate your certificate, they'll ask for your CSR. If they don't, you might have to click "rekey", then they certainly will.

When you input this public code that was created in Step 3, they'll create a certificate that's specific to your server. There's a wait time until they verify, and only then will you receive your two certificate files. These files will be uploaded in Step 5.

Step 5: Once downloaded, you'll obtain a zip file. Unzip it to your computer. Next, go back to virtualmin, go to Tab: CA Certificate and upload the bundle file here. The other file will be used in Step 6.

Step 6: Go to tab: Apply Signed Certificate

Upload the second file from the zip received, mine looked like "94b03b6472d14d07.crt" into Signed SSL certificate. Then, Install Now, at the bottom of that page.

That's it.
