Is how I did this correct? I was given the that the pH is 8 mg/L. So I used the formula pH=-log[H+] and solved it to get 10^-8= [H+]

Yes,

to find the Concentration of a given pH this formula is used.

pH = - log[H+]

[H+] = 10-pH

[H+] = 10-8

[H+] = 0.00000001mg/L
