I'm new to concept mapping and my hw question is:

Draw a concept map relating
the structure of water to the following properties:
-hydrogen bonding -polar covalent bonds
-polarity -unequal sharing of electrons
-high specific heat -high heat of vaporization
-less dense as solid -effective solvent
-cohesion -high electronegativity of oxygen

I have no clue how to start this so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Start off with the word water in the middle. Then have all the points you mentioned connected to the middle word water. It's so easy.

So:

Polarity Leftwards Arrow-- water ----> Hydrogen bonding ---> polar covalent bonds
     |
unequal sharing of electrons

I've attached an example of words other than those you're required to use. That's how the format should look though.
