Coordination of care relevant to forensic outcomes often involves education and other strategies to prevent injuries well after the occurrence, perhaps after the death of an individual who has been injured. Assessment includes the collection of forensic data, identification of realistic out-comes of care are most commonly performed in collaboration with a team of professionals out-side of nursing and medicine, and evaluation of outcomes may involve dissemination of results to the client and the community.
