Osmotic pressure is a result of solute concentration.

Solute concentration is the amount of stuff (electrolytes and particles in a solution, usually water) The amount of solute determines the amount of osmotic pressure of the solution. Osmotic pressure is the inward force of the solution to pull more water into it. The more molecules it has, the more it wants to pull fluids into it to make it less crowded until it is even in concentration with other fluids around it.
