the DHEA hormone, a.k.a. the dehydroepiandrosterone hormone. It is a natural steroid hormone made by adrenal glands and is believed to may possibly help women experiencing menopause. See Reuters.com forthe 12/19/11 article on this research finding.

Yes, one type of hormones produced by the adrenal gland is sex hormone.  Although the sex hormone coming from here is not in large quantity, it helps off set the lack of sex hormone during manopause.
