Sechrist and Stangor ( 2001) studied prejudice and found that you can’t predict a person’s behavior toward minorities on the basis of whether they are high or low in prejudice unless you also know whether they think that others share their views or don’t share their views.  This pattern of results suggests that
a.  we can’t predict the behavior of prejudiced people in complex situations.
b.  prejudice needs to be assessed from the view of majority and minority groups.
c.  there is a significant interaction between level of prejudice and whether they think others agree with them or not.
d.  there are probably significant main effects of these variables.
