It has increased communication between artists from around the world, allowing artists from one culture to get exposed to the performance traditions of other cultures. A potential danger is cultural homogenizationcultural differences being erased in the face of globally disseminated mass entertainment. Traditional forms may disappear as a new generation questions the significance of traditional values and the ancient theatre forms that embody them.
