Truth functionality is an approach to natural language that is concerned merely with different combinations of truth-values of statements or sentence elements.

Logical equivalence is when a statement means exactly the same as another statement. They are equal and therefore it doesn't matter which order they are put in. For example;

Statement 1: The horse is black and the stable is red

Statement 2: The stable is red and the horse is black.

These two statements mean the same thing therefore they are equivalent.

A logical contradiction is when something is affirmed and denied concerning the same thing, at the same time, in the same place, and after the same manner.

Logical consistency is when the internal system produces a conclusion that can be defined as truth. In other words, when the conclusion follows logically from the assumed first principles.

A logical inconsistency is when statements are made that, because they contradict each other, cannot possibly both be true.
