  both macro and micro levels because:
 
  a) They will be able to understand to which particular social institution
  b) By knowing the major social institutions they will be able to advise clients of where to seek
  specific assistance.
  c) The knowledge of social institutions allows social workers to understand policy changes needed
  to help individuals and families find their places in society.
  d) Knowing the major social institutions makes navigating NASW documents and policies easier.
