Children who show behavior characterized by characterized by a pattern of disobedient, hostile,
and defiant behavior toward authority figures and along with the absence of a serious violation of
the basic rights of others can be considered for the diagnosis of:

a) Conduct disorder
  b) Oppositional defiant disorder
  c) Antisocial personality disorder
  d) Intermittent explosive diso

When it is clear that a disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorder ought to be diagnosed,
but the practitioner does not have enough information about the childs difficulties, the following
diagnosis is assigned with the understanding that as more information becomes available, a more
specific diagnosis can be made. It is:

a) Other specified disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorder
  b) Unspecified disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorder
  c) Pervasive developmental disorder
  d) None of the above

What are some signs that the practitioner would look for to determine that a person,
usually a child, might have an elimination disorder?

What will be an ideal response?

Suggested response:
Some signs of the elimination disorders are:Involve
the inappropriate elimination of urine or feces
Usually first diagnosed in childhood or adolescence
Includes enuresis and encopresis
Subtypes offered for diagnostic specificity  such as for enuresis to
differentiate voiding patterns during the nighttime (nocturnal)
or during waking hours (diurnal) or for encopresis to be seen
as the absence the presence or absence of constipation and
overflow incontinence
Diagnosis is based on chronological and developmental age
Both disorders may be voluntary or involuntary
Both disorders typically occur separately but co-occurrence may be
seen
