  b. Members of all social classes have equal probabilities of being marginal workers.
  c. Workers in the middle class are largely protected from marginal jobs.
  d. Workers in the upper class are able to protect their children from marginal work.
  e. There is little evidence on the relation of marginal work to class structure.

  a. underemployment.
  b. the shadow economy.
  c. deviant occupations.
