Your friend saves time on the literature review process by: 1.reading the abstract of an article first to see whether it is relevant. 2.writing out a complete bibliographic reference for each work. 3.making notes on legal pads, grouping similar references together on the same sheet. 4.indicating which notes are direct quotations and which are paraphrases.
