She plans to spend more time in Country​ A, so she wants to have four times as much of currency A as currency B. Set up and solve a system of equations to model this​ problem, and explain what the answer means in practical terms. Complete the equation that represents the total cost of purchasing currency. Let x be the number of currency A and y the number of currency B.

Here's how I think you do it. First, set up your equations:

\(A = 4B\)
\(1.4 A + 1.6 B = 1440\)

You end up with

a = 800.0
b = 200.0

So you need 800 worth of country A's currency, and 200 worth of country B's currency, to make 1440 because of conversion rate.
