A paired difference experiment is an experiment in which two different measurements are taken on the same units and inference are made using the difference between the pairs of measurements.

You use this to

• Analyze two products or companies
• Make a distinction between the two variables
• Calculate the differences between the two variables
• Find the mean population for all possible paired differences.

An example you can write about are repair cost estimates at two different garages for 10 different types of cars.
