Because you are a nursing student your aunt and uncle are asking you for some information about a medical matter.  Uncle Billy, a light skinned older gentleman, just received a diagnosis of skin cancer from his physician.  Aunt Lilly had been concerned about a spot that they noticed on his forehead and the doctor said it was skin cancer (the most common variety).  Aunt Lilly who is dark skinned is very worried, she said after they heard "cancer" they didn't pay attention to much of anything else that was being said.  She is now worried that she or their children (your cousins), may also develop cancer.  Before explaining to the family what is going on Uncle Billy asks you to have a look, you see that the lesion is a papule with an ulcer-like indentation in the center.
