Referring to following video, I feel xiphoid so tensed and would like to know on whether following exercise from video would relax xiphoid or not. Furthermore, I would like to know on what function is about for xiphoid.

Do you have any suggestions?

It's not soft tissue, it's cartilage

the xiphoid would only get damaged if excess weight were placed on the sternum or something interacted with it physically

the best cure is rest, and to resist the form of work that resulted to it in the first place. I don't think these exercises are helpful, I find them more aggravating than helpful

So it is better not to massage xiphoid, but I feel cartilage tensed, is there any stretching (safe) exercise for this area?

Do you have any suggestions?

the xiphoid is connected to several muscle groups, so I doubt it's the cartilage that's causing you pain. I don't think it even has pain receptors or stretch receptors there. it's the muscles connected to it that's causing you pain, and rest is the only remedy I recommend
