Feedback:
Promethazine should not be used in children with hepatic disease or Reye's syndrome. The use of promethazine is not contraindicated with chickenpox, endocarditis, or hypertensive crisis. Promethazine would not be treated with chickenpox unless nausea or vomiting was noted. Endocarditis would not be treated with promethazine. This drug would not be administered with hypertensive crisis.
