The signs and symptoms of cancerous lymph nodes are as follows:

Lumps below the skin surface in the affected area.
Itching in the skin.
Fever.
Weight loss.
Breathing difficulty.
The signs and symptoms of infected lymph nodes are as follows:

Lymph nodes that keep enlarging.
Excessive pain when palpitated.
Redness in the affected region.
Palpitations clumps the nodes together and feel soft to touch.
Accumulation of pus in the lymph nodes
