Is it feasible to design and manufacture a MRI scan + CT scan dual medical diagnostic machine?

Will there be technical challenges in designing & manufacturing?

There will be two Electronic buttons on the Medical device.

1 MRI scan 2 CT scan.

If 1 button clicked, MRI scan process starts.
If 2 button clicked, CT scan process starts.

The cost of the dual medical diagnostic instrumentation product will obviously increase.

Thanks & Regards,

Absolutely possible, but remember their technologies are completely different. So different that there wouldn't even be interference in their readings.

Selecting between the devices would be the "easy" part when engineering this. Of course something like this would be much more convenient, but I'm sure it's more than just technical difficulties that prevent companies from doing this.

Thank you.

As you mentioned, this could be a complex machine to design & construct but this can be achieved.
