 What formula is to calculate resultant forces?  Sounds like you're adding vectors. You'd have to break down each force into its x-y components using trigonometric ratios.

 Good work.I have the solution for you.Step 1. Plot the point on the polar plane or x-y plane.Step 2. Draw the vector from the origin to the point.Step 3. Use the tangent function to relate the x and y coordinates. Tangent relates opposite over adjacent within a right triangle.Step 4. Use inverse tangent to find the angle.Step 5.
